Works of talented Kazakhstanis presented at the Beijing Biennale
Saulet Zhanibek, Beibit Asemkul and Gulmaral Tatibayeva are talented artists of our country, who presented their paintings at the VIII Beijing International Biennale of Arts. And the Foundation of the First President helped them in this. Having received an invitation from the organizers of the biennale, young cultural figures submitted applications for a travel grant competition. The personal creative achievements of each applicant and the high significance of the event helped the young artists to win a travel grant.
Creative workshop for special youth opened in Atyrau
The country continues to implement socially-oriented projects that have received the support of the Foundation of the First President. The help center for NGOs and a club for learning the Kazakh language in Almaty, a beach for youth with disabilities in Aktau, a creative festival for the humanistic education of children in the Akmola region are all winners of the social ideas and projects contest held by the Foundation of Elbasy since 2005.
The Festival Baiqonyr redefines best short film directors
Last Sunday in Almaty ended the short film festival – IV International Short Film Festival Baiqonyr. For five days, from September 4 to 8, at the Kinoplexx cinema Sary Arka, young directors from Kazakhstan, Russia, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Altai, Tatarstan, Azerbaijan and Belarus delighted lovers of short films with their work. The festival was supported for the third time by the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy.
The Foundation of the First President handed certificates to the winners of the competition «Mereily Otbasy»
In Nur Sultan, on the eve of the Family Day holiday, an awarding ceremony was held for the winners of the annual National Competition «Mereily Otbasy». Among the 17 finalist families, the family of Tlekkabylov’s from Atyrau region won. The winner of the contest is determined by the results of sms / online voting among the population.

As part of the nationwide campaign «Road to School», 1000 Kazakhstani schoolchildren received backpacks with a sports uniform from the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy. The purpose of the annual campaign is to support students from low-income and large families during preparation for the beginning of the school year, as well as to prevent children from appearing at school on September 1 for social reasons.
